Drone Work Helps to Inspire New Book
Westbury Cement Works Book
Here is what some of the people that have bought the book have to say about it:

'Some wonderful photos and aerial shots in Simon's book, well worth a read!' - Lin Pratten

'I received my copy of the cement works book today and I must say how fantastic it is in every way. My father worked there for 37 years, I'm taking the book to show him and he'll love it.' - Trevor Laird

'Fantastic book all about the history of the cement works. Fantastic read, worth every penny.' - Garry Brewer, Amazon review

'Thanks for all the work putting the book together and keeping the memory of the works alive.' - Steve Lovell

'I have just read your book on Westbury cement works. Well done; you have remarkably well captured the spirit of the place. My father was one of your "characters" and he lived the works as we would now say 24/7.' - Malcolm Mackley

The inspiration for Simon's new book came from all of the time he spent covering the demolition of Westbury Cement Works.

The works has provided jobs for many people for over 40 years, and as the site was slowly levelled to the ground, Simon realised that soon it would be nothing more than a distant memory. The book is an attempt to help preserve the memory of a place that meant so much to its employees and to the local economy.

The book can be ordered directly fromAmberley PublishingWaterstones from Amazon and from all good book stores.
